    Notes: Llanto por Ignacio Sánchez Mejías (Lament for Ignacio Sánchez Mejías) is a poetic work by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca, published in 1935 by the publishing house Cruz y Raya (Madrid), with illustrations by José Caballero. It is a set of four elegies on the bullfighting theme, mourning the death of the bullfighter Ignacio Sánchez Mejías.
