    “La Mojiganga de la Muerte” is a short, satirical play from the Golden Age, written by Pedro Calderón de la Barca to be performed during the intermissions of major comedies. The play takes a comical and burlesque approach to the ephemeral and often absurd nature of life, using ridiculous and grotesque characters. With a festive and light-hearted tone, its purpose is to offer a playful but profound reflection on the human condition and the inevitability of death.
