Binding: Original period full Spanish calf; green label, gilt fillets and floral tools on spine; sprinkled edges.

Description: Rare Romantic poetic suite by Don Juan Arolas, one of the few Valencian poets who cultivated epistolary and pastoral language in intimate key. All title pages and plates are burin-engraved by Teodoro Blasco, leading Valencian lithographer of the period; includes bucolic scenes, love letters and an author portrait. Printed on first-quality laid paper with clear typography and wide margins; very limited print-run, distributed mainly in local literary circles, so complete sets are scarce today.
Author: Don Juan Arolas (active 1840-1860), Valencian Romantic poet.
Condition: Very good overall. Complete and clean texts; plates intact; spine firm, light binding wear. Previous owner stamp on title pages (Rafael Ariza). Fully checked.
