Description: Luzán’s Poética was the fruit of many years’ work first on the sources of Italian theorists, followed by extensive research into Spanish literary aesthetics together with a close reading of our poets. The work consists of four books in which Luzán attempts an analysis of the poetic problems existing in literature.
Author: Don Ignacio de Luzán (1702-1754), Aragonese poet and literary theorist, key figure of Spanish Neoclassicism.
